I recently got around to cleaning my desk and thought I’d submit my setup before it got messy again. I still have a bit more cable mess than I’d like, but I can’t really do any cable management without hindering my ability to grab my power adaptor and iPhone cable easily when I head out.
I also thought I’d point out my makeshift laptop stand, which I grabbed from the packaging from my external hard drive. As you can see, it comes with the added bonus of being able to run my mouse cord under my laptop, and raises my laptop to almost exactly the same height as my monitor. Before you spend $50 on a (admittedly nicer) laptop stand, it might be worth making sure you don’t already have one sitting in your closet.
