Not everyone who owns a Mac owns an iPhone. Many of you own Blackberry, Nokia, Android or other devices. Trying to sync those devices, especially media, with a Mac up until now has been a less than pleasant experience. doubleTwist aims to solve that by providing an easy to use sync solution that interfaces with your iTunes library.
How does this relate to Minimal Mac?
doubleTwist also has a built in browser for the Amazon MP3 Store that allows you to find, preview and purchase songs. As someone who does a fair amount of purchasing from the Amazon MP3 site, I can say that it is a less than, well, clean experience. Not only is the page cluttered but one must download and keep a whole separate application in order to download your tracks. Less than ideal in my opinion. doubleTwist provides a cleaner browsing experience and downloads your tracks right in the app. This is all full of win.
